It's definetly getting colder ... back to reality after an unusually warm end of November. At least we haven't gotten a major snow ... yet.
We are ready for Christmas at the Kennedy house. The tree, decorations and outside lights went up the day after Thanksgiving. We've gotten the Christmas music out (which I love). Aidan is really into it this year. He has a calendar that counts down the days until Christmas. Everyone morning he checks it. It's fun to see Christmas through the eyes of a child. Everything is so exciting, especially all the outside lights. Laney hasn't shown much interest in the tree this year. Last year, she would push an ornament and watch swing over and over.
Here's a few more notes from Laney's teachers:
11/28/06 - At circle time, Laney imitated "Happy and You Know It" - clapping and stamping her feet.
12/1/06 - Laney walked to snack today holding Anthony's (another student) hand - did a nice job.
12/4/06 - Laney chose her own box puzzle and completed by herself! She traced and wrote her name - that's a first!!!
Cracking up!
